Another Year

It's cappy o'clock. Cappy has paresis which means he does not have full feeling with certain parts of his little kitten body. Cappy needs help with his tinkles 3-4x a day. He can partially empty his bladder, but he rarely can fully empty it. The diaper helps keep messes down and Cappy's fur clean (ish). I definitely have been learning as I go, but I have been doing this for over 6 years. I'm so proud of us and how much we have grown and learned together. Quick backside rinses in the sink with lukewarm water help prevent urine scalding. It's my understanding every cat is different, and fortunately we've never run into urine scalding concerns either cappy. I do keep his backside area as clean as I can though.
