Well, he did it. He went and grew up on me. In my mind he’ll forever be that 4-year-old little boy with the twinkle in his eye who ran into the case worker’s office and yelled “DAD!! MOM!!” and gave us the biggest hugs in the world. He stole my heart 14 years ago and continues to show me what can happen when you choose Love, say ‘Yes’ and Pray like crazy. I’m proud to say that this young MAN is my son. Thank you @Alex Dougherty for your unconditional love, your unending joy and your perpetual optimistic outlook.
