I have decided to take another break from social media. I'm not sure for how long, but my mental health, as I'm sure you've seen, has been at a steady decline, and I need it to be my main priority. I've enjoyed sharing my madness with you all and seeing those who relate come out of their shell to share their stories. Don't stop doing that, please. You are seen and valid in your dark thoughts. Everyone has them. Not everyone is open with them. Not everyone can make sense of it. But it's there, part of our light and dark balance of being human; the Yin to the Yang. But, I have started to use this platform as a journal and time marker instead of using it for more positive reasons and making differences in not just my life but others. I've worried my loved ones and isolated myself in a cocoon of darkness. I have to get myself out of it. Maybe my content will be less doom and gloom if I do, and more about lifting you up, which was my original intention for sharing my life story and how we can get through things together. Sometimes, it takes more of a professional and soul-searching approach, and that requires being quiet and still. Continue to fight for yourself and those you love, for the sake of humanity, and for human rights. I will join you as soon as I am able to pick myself back up. And don't ever feel shame for choosing yourself and what you need. You're worth it. Ask for the help. If you need me, I will still be available in DMs on Insta and texts. But this will be my last post for a bit. As I said, I'm not sure how long, but enough. Thank you for your kind words and love. I truly don't feel worthy of it at the moment, but I appreciate it nonetheless, and hopefully, I will be in a mental space where I can accept this love you've given me. See you soon. Well, that was a dark time... First off, thank you to everyone who checked on me, wished me love and peace, and continued to support me when I couldn't. Y'all have no idea how much you mean to me. All of you. Especially my partner Roux and my friends and family. I love you so very much. I've been working really hard on my mental health and peace, having some help with therapy, doctors, and antidepressants (which were scary at first, but I feel so much better). Putting in the work to not dive farther into madness, but lean into understanding it. I've become at least friends with myself so far and am working on allowing that to turn into love. It's hard, but it's worth it. I realized I wanted to lift you up and share my heart with you, like I did when I was first getting sober from alcohol. Hopeful and taking life humbly and with open ears and arms. I've been focusing on staying in the present and viewing life as a gift instead of a burden. Exploring this beautiful city we've come to call home; something I overlooked when we got here. That being said, I have some exciting things coming in terms of music and collaborations, and I am extremely excited to finally be able to share my story in my art.
