Basic manners behaviours are really helpful, but when you have a dog in their adolescent phase (6-18 months) you have an amazing opportunity to set your dog up for their whole life. One of my favourite things to do with adolescent dogs is reactivity prevention. With reactivity becoming such a common behavioural issue, it’s helpful to look to the future and understand what skills or experiences they need to be set up for.
