The Pasig urban development plan is in response to Executive Order 35’s call to improve the quality of life along the banks of the Pasig River and its surrounding communities. Some 10,000 informal settler families affected by the project will be relocated into two major housing projects in BASECO and the mouth of the river at Laguna de Bay, under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Program. The Pasig River has long been a subject of rehabilitation programs by the government. #foryoupageofficiall #foryoupage #foryou #parati #fypシ゚viral #fypシ #fyp #fy #trending #trendph #tiktokphilippines #tiktokph #viral #tiktok #pasigriveresplanade #manila #philippines

Eastwood City is the Sponsor’s first township development that showcases the signature “live-work-play-learn” concept. It is also the country’s first “cyberpark,” after being the pioneer recipient of the Special Economic Zone for Information Technology status from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) in the late ‘90s, which gave birth to the Philippine BPO industry. Spanning 18.5 hectares of property in Libis, Quezon City, Eastwood City is now home to 24 residential condominium towers, 10 corporate office buildings, a lifestyle mall, clinics, fitness centers, al fresco retail parks, open leisure parks, a church, as well as its own designated police station and a fire station. Its strategic location along Circumferential Road No. 5, popularly known as C-5, which is one of the Metro Manila’s expansive avenues that connects the South Luzon Expressway to the various central business districts (CBDs), and the northern part of Metro Manila, makes it an ideal location for business. Inspired by the Hollywood vibe, Eastwood Citywalk is the soul of Eastwood City’s night life with its opulent clubs, hip bars, exciting events and parties that run from sundown to the wee hours. At present, the township is home to around 85,000 workers and 30,000 residents. #foryoupageofficiall #foryoupage #foryou #parati #fypシ゚viral #fypシ #fy #trending #trendph #tiktokphilippines #tiktokph #viral #tiktok #eastwoodcity #quezoncity #metromanila #philippines #cityexplorerplus

The pedestrianization project begins from General Luna St. corner Aduana St. stretching south to Muralla St. near Puerta Real (Royal Gate) at the district’s encompassing wall. The study noted that pedestrianizing General Luna St. “provides an unobstructed route linking the important attractions inside Intramuros to the attractions in Rizal Park.” The AI is proposing to fully pedestrianize Gen. Luna Street as a pilot site to see how this improves mobility within Intramuros. The pedestrianization will also support the redevelopment of open spaces that both aim to relieve the essence of and reconnect to this historical place. #foryoupageofficiall #foryoupage #foryou #parati #fypシ゚viral #fypシ #fyp #fy #trending #trendph #tiktokphilippines #tiktokph #viral #tiktok #intramuros #manila #philippines #cityexplorerplus

The rehabilitation works of Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz has finally completed in time for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration next week. This plaza used to be dirty and was home to some street dwellers and homeless people. Now, its park benches, tiles and brick pavers has been cleaned for tourists and the general public. Several historical markers located within the plaza has also been restored. The Plaza is adorned with popular Chinese lanters illuminated with a soft glow at night. Various Chinese decorations, information desk and a food bazaar has been set up across the plaza. A brief history of Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz In 1594, the town of Binondo was established on the northern bank of the Pasig River by then Governor-General Gómez Pérez Dasmariñas as a settlement for Chinese migrants arriving in Manila. Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz was created to serve as the largest plaza of the settlement, directly fronting the Binondo Church. Similar to Plaza Moriones in Tondo, the plaza was originally an open grass field. During the Spanish colonial period, the plaza was a hub for economic activity, and was even described by Teodoro Agoncillo as "one of the most impressive open spaces of old Manila". The plaza was surrounded by trees and tipped with two large fountains, both of which still stand today. With the completion of the Binondo Church in 1854, trade around the area increased, and several large buildings and mansions were built around the plaza. Economic activity continued to grow in Binondo during American rule, and the plaza was a busy center of activity alongside other major plazas in Manila. The plaza was also well-served by Manila's pre-World War II tram network. #foryoupageofficiall #foryoupage #foryou #parati #fypシ゚viral #fypシ #fyp #fy #trending #trendph #tiktokphilippines #tiktokph #viral #tiktok #binondo #plazasanlorenzoruiz #manilachinatown #manila #philippines #cityexplorerplus

Work continues on the esplanade. Although the esplanade has already opened its doors to the public, there is still much to be done in its continual improvement. In the coming days, we can expect to see more improvements here on the esplanade and its sorrounding areas. It's great to see how much this place has changed. This place used to be riddled with illegal structures and vendors, now the streets have been cleared for the redevelopment and beautification of the area. With the construction of the newly-opened Pasig River Esplanade, this area has given a new lease of life. The Pasig River Esplanade has become a popular attraction among local and foreign tourists because of its captivating beauty. Some sculptures of the cultural dance Pandango sa Ilaw were also added. Some netizens can't help but compare its beauty to some cities in Europe, especially Italy. It also became a dating spot for some love birds who enjoyed the quiet ambiance. Aside from its night view, the esplanade's view during the day is also a stunner as people will be welcomed by the sight of the Pasig River. The esplanade also featured benches and a terrace, a perfect place to relax. Crews are working on the final finishing touches. At the back of the esplanade is the historical Manila Central Post Office that still stands tall after being caught in the fire last year. According to the Department of Tourism, a P15 million fund was allotted to restore the post office. There are more exciting things to look forward to on the esplanade. The pedestrian walkway is temporarily closed to make it possible for crews to complete improvement and construction work. Once work is complete, the pedestrian walkway will reopen to the public. Also, a public restroom is already being constructed along the river esplanade. #foryoupageofficiall #foryoupage #foryou #parati #fypシ゚viral #fypシ #fyp #fy #trending #trendph #tiktokphilippines #tiktokph #viral #tiktok #pasigriveresplanade #manila #philippines #cityexplorerplus

(This will greatly contribute to tourism in the city of Manila. Here we are also projecting that there will be commercial shops that will give opportunities to our countrymen which is the vision of President. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos),” DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar said in a news release on Monday. (IAC-PRUD) sa pagta-trabaho, hanggang sa mabuo ang proyektong ito (We at the Inter-Agency Council for the Pasig River Urban Development Project will continue to work until this project is completed)," he added. Apart from boosting tourism and maximizing the economic potentials of Pasig River, the PBBM Project also aims to promote transportation interconnectivity in Metro Manila as the waterway traverses several major cities across the capital region. The project envisions to transform the 25-kilometer stretch of the river into people-centered and community-driven park with walk paths and bike lanes. When completed, it will provide a seamless travel on foot or two wheels from Manila Bay to Laguna de Bay. #foryoupageofficiall #foryoupage #foryou #parati #fypシ゚viral #fypシ #fyp #fy #trending #trendph #tiktokphilippines #tiktokph #viral #tiktok #pasigriveresplanade #manila #intramuros #philippines #philippines

Better known as San Sebastian Church, it was founded in 1621 after Don Bernardino del Castillo donated the land on which the church stands today in Quiapo, Manila. The all-steel church was declared a Minor Basilica by the Vatican in 1890, even before construction had started. The church was declared a National Heritage Landmark in 1973, and a National Cultural Treasure in 2011. Today, the structure faces new challenges — corrosion from the salt air from the nearby Manila Bay and water infiltration. Water has infiltrated the walls, accumulating inside the hollow columns supporting the roof, corroding the steel causing it to expand and further damaging the structure. The San Sebastian Basilica Conservation and Development Foundation, Inc. (SSBCDFI) was established in 2012 and heads the church’s restoration program. Since then, the restoration program has been conducting fundraisers for its maintenance, emergency repairs, and restoration of the roofing system and the columns, the restoration of paintings and the stained-glass windows. #foryoupageofficiall #foryoupage #foryou #parati #fypシ゚viral #fypシ #fyp #fy #trending #trendph #tiktokphilippines #tiktokph #viral #tiktok #sansebastianchurch #manila #philippines #cityexplorerplus
