I already know there will be people telling me it’s too dark, it’s going to make the room feel small, it’s going to make the space feel like a cave etc etc… but that’s not necessarily true so trust the process as I show you how beautiful and full of life this room can be even with a dark paint color! This isn’t your grandmothers pasted #wallpaper this is a no commitment 2024 version of it. You install it just like any other traditional wallpaper but the special formulated paste makes it removable with just water! No seriously… I just soak the wallpaper and it peels off my wall. I don’t even use hot water it is just tap water! All this to say @Wall Blush traditional luxe is another #renterfriendly #DIY #homedecor option that has the potential to be a wallpaper option for the people who don’t like/are scared of the idea of #peelandstickwallpaper (though Wall Blushes shouldn’t scare you) Anyways… I am working on the primary bedroom makeover (part 1 coming tomorrow) and if you want to shop my collection with Wall Blush it’s linked in my bio ❤️

It’s an easy #budgetfriendly #DIY #homedecor project and people shouldn’t be scared to try it! With the right products it can be great!

Replying to @Alys Hubbert I call them my “lazy girl” painting tools because I will avoid dragging my huge ladder around for not perfect but gets the job done painting. Both are sold @The Home Depot where the rollers & paint brushes are then you can attach them to a broom handle. I like my paint mop… it’s easier and less messy to use for me! I am not a professional painter and never want to be. We are lucky I even built up the motivation to paint this entire room. The only reason I have the motivation to do it is because I don’t have to drag my huge ladder around + spend a ton of time taping. Rethinking the #sofatable because it’s not just for #homedecor it can actually be a highly useful table in your home! The kids will eat there, do homework, play games, do arts & crafts… I will also work there during the day so I can watch tv. This might be a #momhack for me but I highly recommend this #homeideas for both adults and kids! Also… sofa tables tend to be #budgetfriendly and #smallspaceliving friendly!

I let my daughter paint her canvases on this dining table. I celebrate the fact that this dining nook is loved and used for more than it’s intended purpose! The #contactpaper is there as a semi permanent table cloth for $5 that cleans up easier than the painted wood surface underneath it. #budgetfriendly #homedecor #momhack

Me and my paint pad obsession continues… this wasn’t a project I thought I was going to be doing today or ever but my youngest would not let it go. Before school she said “you’re going to paint the dresser pink today right!?” Well I did it 😂 I thought this paint pad was more fun and easier to use (remember I am a wallpaper girlie so I smooth wallpaper down with a tool in this same motion) BUT it’s not for perfectionists. If I was to do this #furnitureflip correctly I would have sanded it, primed it, used my paint sprayer and not use chalk paint. This was just a quick color swap and so much simpler. Also… Home Depot & Behr do not sponsor me to do these posts. I just have a Home Depot in my neighborhood so it’s my main hardware store. #painting #DIY #homedecor #homeideas

I bought 28 boxes of #peelandsticktile today… I had a mini panic attack hitting that buy button because that’s a lot of #peelandstick even for me BUT I can’t help my curiosity. I wanted to give this #thriftstorefind #painting a little bit of life… the idea was to match some colors to my wallpaper in the primary #bedroommakeover and keep with the theme of arizona sunset colors! I used my kids #craftpaint with foam bushes I soaked in water before dipping them in the paint lightly. Then I used my hands to shape the clouds. I last minute added marigold flowers! It turned out beautiful! #DIY #homedecor #budgetfriendly #homeideas

Let’s talk affordable lighting options… because we already know I didn’t spend much on my #floorlamp in my #livingroom but that doesn’t mean it’s not chic! It looks expensive but was under $50!
