8 weeks postpartum & were hitting leggs🍑💪🏼 a bit of a vulnerable post for me but thats what were claiming this year.. if im veing 1000% honest, I dont like my body right now. I don’t recognize her. I dont feel like myself. I dont feel confident. The last thing I want to do is train.. Getting back into things has been incredibly difficult for me. After 7 years of working my ass off to get a body I felt confident in, just to have to start all over… is HARD The disapline i worked so haard to build, is gonnzooo But like I tell my clients.. you have to show up even when you dont want to, even when you have ZERO motivation, on the bad body image days, the good ones, the days you want to quit all together.. Because THATS how you get where you want to be. You keep showing up for yourself even when things seem impossible. You show up with zero motivation.. THATS how you build your confidence. THATS how you create discipline. Getting back into training after having a baby is arguably harder than anything else…. When I was pregnant, I was able to keep some sense of normalcy with my training split but after having to take 6 weeks completely off after giving birth, getting back into things is fking HARD Not only because that routine and discipline has exited the chat, but because you’re now dealing with pp anxiety, sleep deprivation, raging hormones, the list goes on… Do I do the dishes, laundry that’s piled to the damn ceiling, wash pump parts/bottles, vacuum, go to the grocery store…EAT?! or…. Workout?
