She LOVES cooking like her mama, but she prefers to eat like daddy haha 🥹 Lasagna was one of my fear foods when I had an unhealthy relationship with food. My husband has always loved my lasagna but little did I bake this dish as I thought it would make me fat or gain weight (little did I know haha). Today, I know that I am still a healthy gal eating this lasagna as healthy isn't a category of food but rather my personal approach to it. Healthy is a whole, a mix of moderation, balance and indulgence. Anywayyyy too much blah blah Esra, I bet you guys want the recipe, right? Ingredients (6 servings): Additional: * Bolognese sauce * 1 onion * 300gr of beef * Olive oil * 9 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package instructions * grated Parmesan cheese * Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional) Ingredients For the Béchamel Sauce: - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour - 1L of milk - Pinch of nutmeg - Salt and pepper - Method 1. Start by preparing the Béchamel Sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, whisk in the flour until a paste forms. 2. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 10 minutes. 3. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat once the desired thickness is achieved. 4. Then in a pan, heat the olive oil. Once hot, add the chopped onion until they are soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes. 5. Add the meat. Cook, breaking the meat apart with a spoon, until it is no longer pink, about 10 minutes. 6. Add the tomato/ bolognese sauce and stir for 5 minutes 7. Now you can start with assembling your lasagna: preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Start with a layer of lasagna noodles, then add the meat sauce, then the béchamel sauce, finish with grated parmesan. Repeat 2 or 3 times. (Personally I've repeated 3 times) 8. Bake the lasagne for 45 minutes. All ovens are different so you can always adapt the timing. The top of your dish should be golden and bubbly. 9. Let the lasagna cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, and serve. Enjoy 🫶🏼 #dinnerrecipe

Happy holy month of Ramadan 🌙🫶🏼 This year I want to share 30 days of yummy, balanced and healthy meals/ recipea with you. I know that at some point we run out of ideas hehe Today it’s grilled salmon, colorfoul veggies and boulgour 🤝 Ingredients: - olive oil / butter - 2 Onions cherry tomatoes - 1 lemon - Asparagus - Salmon - 4 sweet potatoes - Seasonings: garlic, cayenne, salt, pepper - Corn scratch Method: 1. In a pan add a tablespoon of butter, add the onions, the tomatoes and once they turn gold, you can add the asparagus and the salmon. 2. Squeeze the lemon on the salmon and add garlic powder, salt and pepper. Let cook both sides for 5-6 minutes 3. Slice the sweet potatoes, add corn scratch, garlic powder, salt, pepper and cayenne. 4. Bake at 190C for 30 minutes 5. Prepare the boulgour and enjoy 👩‍🍳

our priority being our daughter non stop for the past 14 months, we’ve forgotten the couple at the heart of our house sometimes.. Deniz has brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives, shining so brightly that the thought of prioritizing her never feels like a sacrifice, ever. As parents, nurturing and investing in her growth is not just our duty but a privilege, a testament to the love she inspires in us every day. Yet, we’ve realized how much we’ve missed connecting with each other, just as partners, beyond our roles of parents. We felt it was time to rediscover each other as life partners, beyond the parents we are to our precious daughter. My heart of mom obivously feels guilty to travel without Deniz as she has been my other half, a part of me, - I mean - my heart made her heart beat.. so it is certainly not easy but I know she will be good cared of here with our families 🥹…
