I can’t believe so many people haven’t tried this 🥺 artichoke dipped in butter & cheese is one of my fam’s all time favorite treats… get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients: -kosher salt -2 raw artichokes -4 tablespoons salted butter -2 cloves garlic, minced -juice from 1 lemon -Parmesan cheese, freshly grated Directions: -Bring a large pot of water to boil and add in a generous amount of salt. Place in the 2 artichokes to cook, making sure they’re covered by water (or at least mostly covered). Cover the pot and boil the artichokes for 45 minutes-1 hour. You can tell they’re done when you can easily stick a butter knife stuck into the stem area (it should be quite tender). Remove from the water and set aside. -Place butter in a microwaveable dish and microwave for about 30 seconds, or until melted. Add in the garlic and lemon juice. -Serve the cooked artichokes with the butter mixture and a side of the grated cheese. Pizza + sandwich is even better than you think it would be… promise 🥺 IB: @Helan Shabani get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients: -16 ounces store-bought pizza dough -olive oil -1/4 cup pesto sauce -6-8 ounces prosciutto -1 large ball burrata -spicy honey -1/2 cup grape tomatoes, quartered -1/4 cup pepperonicis Directions: -Preheat oven to 425F. Flour a work surface and use your hands to spread out the dough until it’s about the shape and size of a pizza. Drizzle olive oil over the top of the dough, then fold the dough in half and drizzle olive oil over the top again. Place the folded dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. -Open the dough pocket and spread pesto inside. Lay prosciutto slices on the pesto, then the burrata. Slice into the burrata and spread it out. Quesadilla chilaquiles… a God tier combo tbh 😎 get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients (for 2 servings): -5 strips bacon -3 ripe avocados, diced -1/4 red onion, finely diced -3 cloves garlic, minced -1/2 tomato, diced -1/2 jalapeño, finely diced -1/2 cup cilantro, chopped, plus extra for garnish -juice of 1 lime -kosher salt -black pepper -6 flour tortillas -8 ounces Oaxaca cheese, freshly grated -cooking spray -4 eggs -1/2 cup salsa verde -pickled onions -cotija cheese -radish, thinly sliced -hot sauce Directions: -Preheat oven to 425F. Place bacon on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 mins, until cooked through and slightly crispy. When done, place on a paper towel-lined plate and set aside. -Make guacamole: in a large bowl, add avocado, onion, garlic, tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime juice. Season with salt & pepper, stir to gently mix, and taste for seasoning. Set aside. -Lay down 3 of the tortillas, and spread the Oaxaca cheese in a thick layer on each. This is for the pickle lovers! 🥒 a pickle martini & it’s soooo good 🍸 get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients: 4-6 ounces vodka 1 dill pickle spear 6 dill pickle coins Few sprigs fresh dill 4 ounces dill pickle brine, divided 5 Pitted green olives Feta cheese Olive oil Crushed red pepper 3 Cornichons 5 Garlic stuffed olives 2 ounces dry vermouth Directions: -In a sealable jar, combine the vodka, pickle spear, 3 pickle coins, 2 ounces of dill pickle brine, and sprigs of fresh dill. Place in the fridge to infuse/chill. -Place 2 martini glasses into the freezer to chill. -Meanwhile, break the feta up into small crumbles, and stuff the pitted olives with the feta. Place the stuffed olives in a small dish and drizzle on some olive oil and crushed red pepper. -Using cocktail skewers, create skewers with a couple of the feta stuffed olives, a cornichon pickle or two, a couple of the garlic stuffed olives, and the remaining dill pickle coins. Set aside. -Fill a cocktail shaker with a couple handfuls of ice, then pour in 4-6 ounces of the infused vodka, the remaining 2 ounces of dill pickle brine, and the dry vermouth. I’ve heard great things about the new @Little Caesars Crazy Puffs, so I tried making a homemade version! 🍕 Honestly, these are delightful - get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients: -storebought pizza dough -softened butter -pizza sauce -fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes (not shredded) -freshly grated Parmesan cheese -pepperoni Directions: -Allow the pizza dough to come to room temperature. Preheat oven to 425F. -Rip the pizza dough into small ping pong sized balls, and stretch the balls out so they’re flat like mini pizzas. -Use softened butter to grease the bottoms of a muffin tin, then lay the small dough circles into the muffin slots. I have soooo much fun making these 🤗 rice paper chips are a great vessel, so I decided to put this amazing breakfast combo on there! Get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients (for 8 chips): -vegetable oil, for frying -2 rice paper sheets, cut into quarters -2 eggs -1 tbsp milk -1/2 tsp kosher salt -cooking spray -1 cup cooked white rice -sesame seeds -1 scallion, thinly sliced -kimchi, for serving -sweet chili sauce, for serving Directions: -Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high. Once the oil is at least 350F, drop in the rice paper quarters one by one. They should very quickly puff up. Set them aside on a paper towel-lined plate. -In a bowl, combine the eggs, milk, and kosher salt. Whisk until well-mixed. Heat cooking spray in a small nonstick pan over medium, then add in the egg mixture. Cook and scramble until the eggs are just barely set. -Assemble the chips by laying on a large spoonful of rice onto each chip, then some sesame seeds, then some of the cooked eggs, and scallion. Once boiling, add in the pasta and cook until nearly al dente. Reserve about a cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside. -In a large pot over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter and add in the cracked pepper to toast for a few minutes. Then pour in about half a cup of the pasta water and bring to a simmer. Add in the cooked pasta and the remaining tbsp of butter. Stir to coat the pasta, then IMPORTANT: remove the pot from the heat. -Add in the cheeses one at a time and stir to mix. The cheese should smoothly melt into the sauce. Tater tots are an amazing vessel 😎 I put the ingredients for cheeseburgers in these lil tater tot muffins and it came out sooo yummy - get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients (for 6 muffins): -roughly 2 cups frozen tater tots -1/4 cup lean ground beef -2 tsp kosher salt -1 tsp black pepper -1 tsp garlic powder -1/2 tsp red pepper flakes -2 ounces sharp cheddar cheese block, cut into 6 thin slices -ketchup -mustard of choice -1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped finely -1/2 medium tomato, cut into small pieces -dill pickles, finely chopped -pickled red onions Directions: -Preheat oven to 425F. Meanwhile, place 5 or 6 frozen tater tots into the holes of a muffin tin. Bake for 10 minutes, until just warmed up. Remove from oven and use a small cup to push the tater tots down into a cup shape. Place back into the oven for about 20 minutes, until tater tot muffins are dark golden brown around the edges. -Meanwhile, heat a nonstick pan over medium. Add in the ground beef and break up while cooking. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the beef is browned. Drain the excess fat and set aside. -When the tater tots muffins are ready, spoon the cooked ground beef into each muffin opening. Place a slice of the sharp cheddar onto each, then place back in the oven for 5-10 minutes, until cheese is melted. -Top the muffins with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and pickled onions. Cook until the sugar dissolves. In a large sealable container, add in the sliced onion and jalapeños. Pour the vinegar mixture over to cover them completely, and then set aside to pickle. -Meanwhile, line the basket of an air fryer with parchment. Lay down a layer of Doritos, then a couple handfuls of Mexican shredded cheese, then some of the cooked ground beef, then a few spoonfuls of each of the beans, then a few spoonfuls of salsa verde. Welcome back to “Meals for my Exes” 😬 I am grateful for the learning experience and the fact that this opened my eyes to fine dining and just how much I loved good food, which of course brought me here 🥺 my meal for this ex is pasta pomodoro, which was one of the first “impressive” dishes I learned to make… get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients (for 4-6 servings): -2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil -1 white onion, diced -2 tbsp tomato paste -6 cloves garlic, minced -1 cup dry red wine -2 (28 ounce) cans whole San Marzano tomatoes -kosher salt -1 pound pasta -handful fresh basil leaves -freshly cracked black pepper -crushed red pepper flakes -freshly grated Parmesan cheese Directions: -Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, then add in the onions. Sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add in the tomato paste and cook until slightly darkened in color. Add in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Deglaze with the red wine, then add in the tomatoes. Allow to simmer. -Meanwhile, fill a large pot with water and generously season with salt. Bring to a boil, then add in the pasta to cook until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside. -To the sauce, add the basil leaves. Use an immersion blender (or pour the red sauce into a regular blender) and blend until smooth. At this point, taste for seasoning and add salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper as needed. -Add the cooked pasta into the sauce and evenly coat the pasta. Stir to evenly mix. -On one of the slices of bread, spread on the butter mixture. Top that with the shredded sharp cheddar and 2 slices American cheese. Layer on the slices of ham. Evenly spread out the pickle coins, then sprinkle on the shredded fontina. Finish off with 2 more slices American cheese, then close the sandwich with the other piece of bread. -Heat a large pan on medium-low. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the top of the sandwich, then place that side down onto the pan. Cook, using a sandwich press if you have, for 5-7 minutes. The bottom of the sandwich should be golden but not burnt. -Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the top (other side) of the sandwich, then flip the sandwich and repeat cooking/pressing on this side. When both sides are golden and all the cheese is melted, remove from heat. -Open the sandwich and place in some of the dill pickle potato chips. It’s so easy to make and truly delicious 🥹 get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients: -1 store bought croissant -4 ounces cookie dough -chocolate sauce -caramel sauce -powdered sugar Directions: -preheat oven to 350F. -Take the croissant and cut it in half through the middle, like a sandwich. Smoosh half of the cookie dough on the open part of one of the croissant halves, then close the croissant like a sandwich. Then smoosh the other half of the cookie dough on top of the closed croissant. -Place the cookie croissant on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes, until cooked but still gooey. -Drizzle chocolate sauce and caramel sauce on top, then sprinkle on powdered sugar. I’m serious this is the best Bloody I’ve ever had! 🤩 Probably because of the pickle ice cubes & pickle vodka 🥒 this is also part of my series ✨Sippin’ in the Shower✨ - where I make cocktails that I drink in the shower! Get the recipe for this below‼️ Ingredients: -12 green olives -6 cornichons, cut in half -1 cup plus 2 ounces pickle brine, divided -4-6 ounces vodka -dill pickle spears -dill pickle coins -Few sprigs fresh dill -salami slices -cheddar cubes -mozzarella pearls -garlic salt -tomato juice -fresh lemon juice -prepared horseradish -Tabasco sauce -Worcestershire sauce Directions: -For the pickle ice cubes: in an ice making tray, place 1 olive in each cube, then a cornichon half. Then pour about a cup of pickle brine into the cubes, filling them almost all the way. Place into the freezer overnight. -For the pickle vodka: in a sealable jar, combine the vodka, a pickle spear, 3 pickle coins, 2 ounces of dill pickle brine, and sprigs of fresh dill. Place in the fridge to infuse/chill overnight. -For the skewers: use small cocktail skewers and slide on some salami, cheddar, mozzarella pearls, and some of the cornichons and pickle coins. Set aside. -To make the Bloody Mary: pour some garlic salt onto a small plate. Wet the rim of highball glasses, then dip into the garlic salt to create a seasoned rim. In each glass, drop a few of the pickle ice cubes. Pour in tomato juice, filling up the glass about 2/3 of the way. Then pour in about 2 ounces of the pickle vodka into each, plus lemon juice, horseradish, Tabasco, and Worcestershire to taste.
