Yes! I always fast and pray during my cosplay jobs! 😳 Let me share some tips and tricks on how to pray on events, to hopefully inspire you 🥹✨️ 1) Timing If possible try to attend the event on the best time. For example: come early in the morning and be home before Asr prayer. Or, leave after Dhuhr prayer and be home before Magrib prayer. And so on... This isn't always possible for me as I'm working in shifts, in that case this is what I do: 2) Maintain your ablution (Wudhu) A common myth is that make up breaks your state of Wudhu. Which is not true! Just make sure you do your Wudhu BEFORE applying your make up. It can be tricky to maintain your Wudhu on events so make sure you pray right after the Athan (call to prayer) and dont wait any longer! Also make sure to distance yourself from the opposite gender as intentionally touching also breaks your Wudhu 3) Retouching Worst case scenario is when you didn't manage to maintain your Wudhu while in cosplay. It happens sometimes 🥲 When this happens make sure to redo your Wudhu and retouch your make up afterwards. So please bring a small make up kit and mirror with you! (Disclaimer: Your make up can NOT be waterproof as your Wudhu could be invalid) I hope these tips can be beneficial to you, may Allah reward us for the extra efforts we do, Aamiin 🥹
