FAM_CLOCK, all available on our website! - - - - - - - #TeamTOOLSTODAY - - - - - - - I started out by applying some Oramask 813, item #ORA813 , and began carving using the Amana Tool RC-45711 90° rotatable Insert carbide ‘V’-Groove In-Tech 11/16" diameter bit from @toolstoday. - - - - - - - RPM: 18,000 Feed Rate: 40ipm Plunge Rate: 20ipm Max Depth of Cut: .3" - - - - - - - This bit carved incredibly cleanly through the Oramask 813 and will definitely make the painting and finishing process much easier! I then switched out for the Amana Tool #46225 -K 1/8" Spektra ™ coated downcut bit to cut the hole for the clock movement. - - - - - - - #TeamTOOLSTODAY - - - - - - - RPM: 18,000 Feed Rate: 60ipm Plunge Rate: 30ipm Depth per pass: .125" - - - - - - - I then switched out for the #46202 -K 1/4" Spektra ™ coated downcut bit to cut the profile and flipped it over to cut the pocket for the clock movement. - - - - - - - RPM: 18,000 Feed Rate: 100ipm Plunge Rate: 50ipm Depth per pass: .25" - - - - - - - I cut the tabs free using the Fein AMM-300 MultiMaster Multi-tool, available on our website! This is definitely my go to way of cutting the tabs free! - - - - - - - I then used the Amana Tool #47116  3 flute 1/2" diameter flush trim bit on the SawStop router table, both available on our website, to trim the tabs flush and perfectly smooth! - - - - - - - I used General Finishes Milk Paint in Patina Green, item #PPG . Milk Paint is my go to for projects like this using the Oramask 813. - - - - - - - Go over the masking lightly with a heat gun to help loosen the adhesive a bit and prevent any grain pulling from the masking sticking down too well. Using a hook weeding tool, item #silhouette -hook available on our website, also helps a ton to remove the pieces of masking. Is this the fastest and most accurate way to cutout windows? I certainly think so, plus, it's extremely easy to do! Using the Amana Tool 47104 1/2" diameter flush trim bit, available from @toolstoday, to cut out the siding for windows on the chicken coop. This method worked out great, required no measuring or removing the siding multiple times to mark out and cut the window location. Resawing this spalted Pecan wood using the high fence on the SawStop 5hp ICS table saw using the Amana Tool 610301 10" 30T blade and keeping things safe with Bow Products feather boards and push sticks, all available on our website.
