Ten years ago, I was captivated by a stunning photo of a Shinkansen speeding past the awe-inspiring Mount Fuji, sparking a dream that lingered. Today, that dream became reality as I witnessed and captured this iconic scene in person! 🚄🗻 #japan #mtfuji #japanphotography #shinkansen
After three trips to japan, i finally made it to this place for this particular shot. Was it worth it? 📍Tsubosaka Dera Temple #japan #cherryblossom #sakura #photography #japantravel

Here’s another creative idea to capture cinematic iPhone footage on your next road trip: 1. Invest in a 360-degree rotation suction cup car mount for your iPhone. I purchased mine on Amazon for around USD$20, but you can likely find them widely available. 2. While optional, I recommend using the SmallRig iPhone case for added security. It’s easy to attach and feels more secure than using just an iPhone holder, especially when the phone is mounted outside of a moving vehicle. By the way, my suction cup actually came with a phone holder, but I opted not to use it. 3. Get creative with your shooting angles; you can mount your phone almost anywhere as long as it’s a smooth surface like metal or glass. Ensure you thoroughly clean the surface and check that the mount is securely attached. 4. To fully utilise the capabilities of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, shoot in ProRes Log for later colour grading in DaVinci Resolve or FCPX. In the camera app, select 24fps, activate action mode, and enable ProRes Log (you may need to switch it on in the camera settings). 5. Capture a variety of clips from different angles, then proceed to edit and colour grade them. 6. Don’t sue me if your devices get damaged due to improper use. #shotoniphone #cinematicphotography
During my sunrise shoot at the soccer field, I encountered a remarkable moment with a 73-year-old Japanese gentleman, diligently working security for an event. Upon asking for a portrait against the majestic backdrop of Mount Fuji, he graciously consented. Despite a lifetime in this town, he had never been professionally photographed with the iconic mountain. So i hope Tiktok can help me find him and gift this photo 😊 #japan #mtfuji #japanphotography #日本 #富士山
