The best way to explore the Philippines 🇵🇭 Hit save & tag someone you want to experience this with ✨ Here’s the top line info: 📝 Company: Big Dream Boat Man 🗺️ Route: Coron to El Nido or El Nido to Coron. 🕰️ Duration: 4 days. 🤿 Activities: Snorkelling, swimming, beach hopping, kayaking, volleyball, basketball, local island visit. 🏝️ Facilities: Basic but comfortable beach camps. Usually a mattress on a floor in a private hut with a sheet, pillow, fan & mosquito net. No hot water, WiFi or aircon. Limited electricity. Embrace the simplicity of island life! 🥘 Food: Simple local meals, freshly prepared. Meat/fish eaters have plenty of choice. Veggie options are limited. 💰 Cost: £450. This includes towels, snorkel gear, all food and drinks, even alcoholic ones. Make sure you keep some cash aside for tipping the crew. 📍 The Prospect Of Polesden Circular 🥾 If you’re looking for a beginner friendly hike which is within reaching distance of London, give this one a go! It ticks all the boxes - beautiful views, historical houses & nearby pubs! ✅ Tag your hiking buddies & hit save so you can do this hike later! Here’s the details: 🥾 Distance: 8km ⛰️ Elevation: 250m 🕰️ Duration: 2-3 hours 🚗 Parking: You park at Denbies Hillside which is national trust so costs a couple of quid (you can use the PayByPhone app). 🚂 Public transport: The nearest train station is Dorking West, if you walk from there to the start point it adds about 2.5km each way & some stunning views. 🍽️ Pub: The nearest top notch one is Queen Stage in Effingham who do a great brunch, lunch, roast and dinner. 📍The Box Hill Circular 🥾 If you’re looking for a slightly more challenging hike which you can access via a train from London, give this one a go! It ticks all the boxes - spicy hills, stunning views & cosy pubs along the way! ✅ Tag your hiking buddies & hit save so you can do this hike later! Here’s the details: 🥾 Distance: 12km ⛰️ Elevation: 550m 🕰️ Duration: 3-4 hours (longer with a pub stop!) 🚗 Parking: Box Hill car park which is national trust & costs £6 for a day (you can use the PayByPhone app). 🚂 Public transport: The nearest train station is Box Hill & Westhumble, if you walk from there to join the trail it adds about 1km, a sweaty stair climb and some gorgeous stepping stones. 🍽️ Pubs: Theres lots of options along the way! My favourite is the Running Horses, great for a Sunday roast. Others include the King Henry and the Stepping Stones.
