Incase you haven’t seen my gram stories on what we’re going theough atm! This is our reality of advocating for my non-verbal child. Really did not expect the afternoon / night to spiral into this, but at the same time not surprised! My child may be non-verbal but this mama aint!! And when I see him being singled out, I’m going to speak up! I’ve stayed quiet about alot of things that most parents would be fuming over - i always met the situations with patience & understanding, but they did this to us in December and AGAIN now, to try tell me my special needs child can’t attend the special needs centre we pay for without paying extra for more 1:1 is wrong! I believe this was meant to happen so we get put on a different path and figure out a new routine with better support 🤍 #advocating #nonverbal #asdmum

Final update! We’re now doing support work in home 4 days a week with Pauline & Maddy 🥹🥹 and Jassy was approved for 1 day of ECDP a week too!! It all worked out and I think Jassy is going to thrive with this new routine! #asd #nonverbal #advocating #asdmum

Day 8 of Jaska’s medication (this was filmed a few weeks ago just forgot to post), since he went up to .5ml he’a done no more of the intense bites!! Just super cuddly and affectionate 🥲 we’ve also been able to start dressing him standing up (as apposed to having to lay him down) and he now independently lifts each leg through the hole & arms 🥹 this is massive improvement for him! #dayinmylife #asdmum #nonverbal #nonverbalautism #Vlog #speechtherapy
