Heres some tricks I taught sirius just for fun. These ones don’t have much of a purpose. Minus maybe the hug command but he does that on his own often.
Just a compilation of salem being the best demon boy ever 🖤🥺 (i have multiple disabilities and hes trained to help me on bad days. Plz save me the lazy comments! )
Im always asked if the boys act out and the answer to that is of course they do 😂 so heres some clips of Sirius being a butthead. my dogs aren’t robots & sometimes they throw fits & misbehave just like other dogs. Recently Sirius has started throwing fits when i cut him off from treats & he thinks if he offers me random tricks or behaviors ill give in and give him more treats 😂
I taught my dogs strict impulse control to avoid them ever eating something dangerous or poisonous. HOW I TRAINED THIS- 1. Teach your dog a wait/leave it command. Incorporate that into their daily life with all food/meals/treats etc. (theres a tutorial for wait/impulse control on my yt!) • 2. Teach your dog how to hold inedible objects and build the foundation up.(My yt has a tutorial for item holding) Once they're solid with that work your way up to doing this with a large dog safe but solid item. Like a bully stick or bone . Intro it to your dog and let them bite it but say your wait command and hold your hand under their chin for a few seconds & take the bone away & Reward them with a different treat! Take your time with this and build up to it. Repetition & consistency pays off
Its been awhile since i showed y’all my current fav tricks. So here they are. Getting slippers is a new command that hes still figuring out but as always he’s doing great (check out my yt for tutorials!)
He had never had a noodle before so we had a lil mishap with that one and i think it was cause of the texture 😂 still the best boy 🖤 ➡️HOW I TRAINED THIS⬅️ 1. Teach your dog a wait/leave it command. Just some fun, easy tricks with sirius today. Ive been piecing together some random commands like “go get a toy & put it back” to challenge him more. Hes so incredibly smart hes never fazed
I buy the boys equal amount of toys. Salem destroys 90% of his & Sirius babies his. I always keep atleast 5 of Sirius’ toys put up in his kennel whenever Salem is hanging out so he can’t ruin them 😂
Just doing some basic run through training this morning to work his brain. I try and do mental stimulation with the boys every morning to help get the early morning crazies out
The way he’s always so ready to jump in and help me. Even when he wss asleep. I also love seeing him figure out the drink command. Which is still relatively new. Watching him use his brain & think about things is cool. I’ve been having major complications with my Crohn’s disease and arthritis over the last 3 months and the boys have been the best help & emotional support. (My yt has tutorials showing how i trained them both retrievals) #dogsoftiktok
Replying to @Tally the pharaoh yes. Everything my boys know, i trained them. I have training tutorials on my yt for a lot of tricks/tasks and obedience! Same name as on here :)
When working with a toy reward you’ll notice salem is 100x more amped up than normal. He isn’t food motivated 99% of the time. Hed rather work for praise or a toy.
