My favourite day over the last 2 months has been Sunday. I’ve watched @Miles Nazaire grow as a person and a skater and I couldn’t be more proud. Gutted to be missing the final but I know he’s going to smash it and I’ll be watching from a far. Bring it home brother #DancingOnIce
Don’t underestimate the benefits of routine. Whether you believe in all the benefits of ice baths etc., having structure to your day sets you up to win. My day looks like this: 1) Wake up 45 minutes before training and pop my Polar on to track my steps and activity. 2) Ideally straight in the ice bath but, being honest, sometimes I can’t bring myself to do it - I always get it done in the day though (Lumi pro barrel is my ice bath) 3) Take greens and size from @GHOST® (use code: TEMPTATION for 20% off). Size has creatine in it and greens has 20 powdered reds and greens - this just sets me up for the day in case I don’t eat as much fruit and veg as I’d like. 4) Train - I’m doing Marchon strength followed by conditioning, Monday to Friday. I love this style of training and the coaches and community are amazing. 5) I mostly eat before training - bagel and jam/baked oats - something with fast releasing energy. Then I’ll definitely eat afterwards. A balance of carbs, fats and protein (and veg where possible). 6) Freshen up, ready for the day. I’m using the @CeraVe face wash and moisturiser at the moment. I’ve got quite oily skin and I’m shiny on camera so this moisturiser seems to work well. 7) Every day is different but I’m good to leave the house, feeling my best, at around 9am.
