Now that I have a ginger bug going, it’s time to make loads of sodas 🍾 To make a ginger bug, simply add and mix 1 tablespoon chopped organic ginger and 1 tablespoon of sugar to a jar of water, cover with cheesecloth and set aside at room temperature. Repeat this process everyday until foam starts to form at the surface, then your ginger bug is ready to use. To make soda, add the strained ginger bug to a PRESSURE SAFE bottle, and top up the rest of the bottle with your juice of choice, making sure to leave a couple inches of headspace. Close the bottle and set aside at room temperature, burping the bottle everyday will give you a good idea of when it is ready. This can depend on the temperature.
