This was the first time I ever played this record in NYC. Today it is RELEASED on our own label STEREOHYPE ❤️🔥 thank you Martin Ikin it feels like a moment to get one of my favourite producers on the label 🙏🏻 Martin Ikin - In The Streets out everywhere now
When I play massive festivals I put a lot of pressure on myself to make the show really fxxking special. Something I spend a lot of time thinking about is finding the sweet spot between brand new and exciting stuff, my own music and classic moments 🧐 Some artists play the same set for years, other artists play completely new music and get slated for not playing their hits! Idk what’s right but I try and find what works for me. When I’m stepping out on stage infront of 50,000 people it’s crazy pressure, all I’ve got to back me up is my preparation and my experience. These are 3 things I always do in preparation for a big festival set. 🙏🏻❤️
4 tips I’ve learned that will make you successful. 1. Avoid Perfection, consistency wins every time, perfect is an illusion just aim for great do it again and again and you’ll be the best that you can possibly be. 2. stop comparing. You’re the only person on your journey and you don’t know anyone else’s full story. Even when you hit your goals, your imagination will create someone new that’s better than you just to make you feel inferior. 3. Ask for help, rappers have managers, athletes have coaches, find people, listen to their advice and take it. 4. Be yourself and then some, use your unique set of experiences to make you a 1 of 1. No one we look up to is normal!
