Replying to @Beth Basically I don’t want to make my dog groomers life any more difficult than it is, when yoy have to deal woth matting constantly im sure it gets pretty old. Mats can also be painful for a dog (regardless of how small) as it pulls the skin. Having to demat small mats can cause stress on the dog and cause damage to a groomers tools and it can take up a lot of time which means that you are preventing them from being able to take in more clients. I choose to make my dog groomers life easier because I understand how challenging being a dog groomer can be.
Replying to @Millovic I dont teach in one language because honestly I think languages are super fun! I would say in the working dog community a lot of handlers choose to not go with english 😁
This is what territorial sun conures look like, a friend of mine unfortunately is in the hospital so im in charge of takijg care of the gremlins. Absolutely SWEET little angels at my house for nail trims…but menaces in their home.

Yall gonna drive me to drink I swear. 🤣 Unless you are doing competitions that require you to use very specific cues, do whatever you want! Could I teach Flint using “proper” words? 100% but will I? Probably not. Please stop commenting that I’m doing things wrong…I’m well aware 😝 The results are still the same are they not?
Names id never name a bird on the basis that EVERYONE and their neughbour choose. 🤣Nothing wrong with using the names it’s just not something I would ever do
I often get asked “how is Flint around the birds being a birding breed?” I have worked tirelessly since he was very very young on completely ignoring the parrots and thus he really doesnt pay them too much attention. Although this can be very dangerous, I know Flint is very solid in his cues and also know these birds so as you can see Im not too worried. These impulse control sessions are heavily monitored, and they are NEVER left alone together, but in the event a bird gets into Flints area I need him to understand he is not to chase but to completely ignore. I hear a lot of horror stories of peoples dogs getting their birds and I am taking every possible precaution to prevent this from happening, this includes training sessions like this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS unless you know what you are doing! This is simply me wanting to show you how Flint reacts to being around birds.
