Why are some people unable to lose fat no matter what they do? Simply put: they haven’t tried the right things. Or they haven’t done the right things consistently. They think that eating less food is the way to lose fat. They try fad diets like keto or carnivore. They go from sitting on the couch to working out 2 hours a day. They think that cardio leads to fat loss. And most importantly: they think they’re built differently and that they’re a medical mystery. Once these people admit that they don’t know what they’re doing and seek professional help, they always see success within the first few months. Weight is IMPORTANT. Your feelings of entitlement are not. You shouldn’t be ridiculed for your weight… But this entitled behavior is rooted in delusion. Yes, some medical professionals are known to write people’s concerns off and immediately tell them to lose weight… But if you’re obese and you have a list of health conditions that can be easily improved through weight loss… Then you should probably lose weight. Or continue having the problems and develop even more 🤷🏻♂️ Medical professionals can be problematic when they look solely at weight and BMI because that doesn’t provide the full story… But refusing to give your weight because you don’t feel like it?
