Replying to @Nicole Lauff6 staying in a capsule hotel in japan!!! 🫶🏼 📍 Nine Hours Hamamatsucho - around AUD $44 per night per capsule directly from their website - towels, pjs, slippers, toothbrush, shampoo, etc provided - locker can fit medium sized luggages but anything bigger will have to stay in the reception common area - locker area can get busy and may not have a lot of room to pack your bags - capsule is super cosy but may get stuffy, door is a pull-down blind - location has a good private view of the Tokyo Tower - location not necessarily close to attractions but right next to a train station for easy commuting - if staying consecutive nights, have to leave “check-out” everyday by 10am and cant come back till after 2pm (but can still keep the same capsule and locker as previous nights) - i would stay again! 🎉
everything you need to know about going to Shibuya Sky ☁️ - book 28 days in advance at 12am Japan time for best time slots - best time for sunset view was around 5:30-6:30pm (*in April*) - i’d book at least 1 hour before - book directly from the Shibuya Scramble Square website (time slots via third party websites open later) - if u wanna be extra organised, register a WebKet account in advance so u can be ready to purchase tickets asap - you can stay as long as you want once you enter - bring a 100 yen coin for lockers

how to take a train in Seoul, South Korea🚊 the best way to get around! i only used a bus once and then Kakao Taxi twice tips: 📌 download Naver Maps and start pinning places before your trip (might need time to find Hangul/korean word for some places) 💵 always have Korean cash on hand to charge T Money card ↔️ you’ll have to transfer between train lines often but its easy - full instructions all on Naver Maps (including info on what entrance/exits to take, train departure times, etc) 🚶🏻♀️lots of stairs! there are elevators but you have to detour to use them 🍽️ also Naver Maps is so good for finding cafes / restaurants - it includes menu, photos, reviews from locals👌🏽 #travel #seoul #korea #traveltips
