Here’s what’s going on… A lot of creators, influencers, entrepreneurs, etc., are frustrated. Specifically, a lot of them complaining on threads and voicing frustrations with Instagram and their content not “doing well” Here’s the issue they don’t see… A lot of creators who get to a certain ‘status’ on social media after having built an audience, make a crucial mistake. They abandoned the content they were posting that got them the audience in the first place. They are posting a new style of content, and their current audience is not interested. This is why there is a lot of frustration. I see this thread happening with a lot of larger creators, entrepreneurs and business owners. Let me make this clear, If you are not your current audience, the type of content in which they followed you from originally, you will lose them. Why? Because they are not interested. Instagram is not shadow banning you and the algorithm does not hate you. Your current audience is not interested in your newer content, that is OK. If you are making new content, that is not for your original audience, you have to understand not everyone will be interested and you will lose people if that is the direction you want to go. I highly recommend taking a look at your content that grew you to where you are now and continuing to pour into your audience by giving them the content they want. Instagram shows your content to your audience first if they don’t like it that means they’re not interested and that means Instagram will not continue to push your content out to more non-followers.
